I think 2016 was a great year with tons of great albums! We started with This Is Acting  (I loved it) and ANTI,  which is great even though it wasn't what I was expecting from Rihanna. Lemonade was excellent and Dangerous Woman simply SLAYED my life :firega:. Then we got a blessing in the form of an EP thanks to Carly Slay Jepsen who gave us the some of the B-sides from E•MO•TION, but I can't forget to mention Britney's return :excited2: Britney Jean was honestly really bad so Glory felt like a miracle . In october Gaga came along and slayed us all once AGAIN with Joanne :staymad:, and a week later we received Lady Wood from Tove Lo, which I recently got into :music:. Also, The Weeknd realeased Starboy, definetely a stand out.

And for those who like drag queen music :creepflop: we got albums from Adore Delano, RuPaul herself, Alaska and Ginger Minj, with Adore's being my fave

All in all, this last year was AMAZING :golfclap: and I don't think we'll see so many great realeases in the same year for quite some time

That's the thing, all though most mainstream was ****, there was so many blockbuster and groundbreaking releases this year. The most there's been since at least 2009, so we'll be waiting a long time before that many amazing albums are released again.

I obviously love run away with me (because who couldn't) but I just don't see what's so great about E•MO•TION or the B-sides EP or why the critics adore her

Seeing as so many great albums were released this year, all the good artists will probably spend ages writing :/.

I just think that while the whole album is influenced by the 80s, each track manages to sound unique, and they all feel like pop perfection, to me at least  But because she's the "Call Me Maybe" girl, nobody pays attention to her, and they disminish her efforts :nails:. E•MO•TION is full of BOPS
