Adele has undoubtedly proven herself to be quite the reputable force. Some consider her the "anomaly" in today's sales climate. The staggering numbers, the awards, and the overwhelming support from the GP and critics alike are there to prove it. On the other hand, I've seen various claims that Adele, despite her massive success, hasn't done anything remotely near "iconic" to join the elite tier of legends and icons. Some imply that Adele has yet to cross the bounds of playing it to "too safe," and that her legacy is consequently at risk in the long run. What do you think? Has Adele cemented her name to the status of a legend or icon? Is she nowhere near being worthy of such a grand title? She's just overrated, there's nothing really special about her music.. even her voice is not that wow.. it's kinda regular.. yeah she can hit some notes but her voice is not that beautiful in my opinion. I remember with 21, Adele was all over the place, everybody talked about her on a daily basis..
