Once during a show (the BTWB I think) she said something about her "Little Monsters" but followed that statement up with "Well, I guess you're not so little anymore". So I take it as Monsters are veteran Gaga fans, Little Monsters are newer and/or younger fans...all based on that one statement though

And, obviously, the difference between a stan/fan and a (Little) Monster is that fans may stream or buy a few songs here and there, stans might go to her shows and argue about her in the YouTube comments or on atrl or whatever, but Monsters live and breathe her work. We're inspired by her and we feel a true emotional connection with her and with each other. Monsters, especially when it comes to communities like GGD, we're not just a fanbase, we're a family and Gaga is our Mother Monster 

I definitely see why some people cringe at statements like that but I don't really care. I have a true feeling of love for Gaga and my fellow Monsters and no amount of scoffing or negativity will ruin that

OT: My casket will have to be custom made to allow me to have my Monster Paw up until I turn to dust 

I have a monster paw tattoo (no not the same as gaga's lol. I got it b4 gaga.) and inside the claw it says "I thought I knew what love was until I became a little monster". Monsters/gaga were the first people to love me unconditionally for who I am. I'll put my paws up until they close the ****ing casket and bury me 6 feet under. Part of me thinks that deep down gaga wishes she could go back to the glitter and disco sticks days just to cherish us at that "age" for just a little while longer. She "raised" us in a way and it's like she blinked and we were all "grown up"
