Tour possible without hit songs and good selling album?

If Fifth Harmony can tour on one hit single, Gaga can tour on an album that does well with no hit singles. Considering the stark decline of album sales, Joanne is a formidable commercial success. She outsold almost all major female pop releases of 2015 & 2016 (except Beyoncé and Adele). Y'all don't need to worry about touring.

Take a look at Madonna

Madonna has had huge singles and albums sales during her earlier years spanning two decades, she's fading away only during the early 2000s/late 90s. While Gaga was only huge for 3 years at most.

Super bowl will be good for the tour. Announce the tour in the midst of the SB buzz and it will sell well in the US for sure. Worldwide may be a different story though..

Pacify Him

How's there going to be a tour if there isn't choreo yet? :laughga: John Wayne is my only hope

I’m getting on your nerves

Just a question for fans here to ponder. I personally think the concerts would be kept minimal at best if this trend of underperforming songs and album continues.

Dumb.

ARTPOP had a hit single, more exposure, sold more, better promo + performances and was not too far away from the massive success of BTW and still was pretty small a gaga tour.  Joanne has had no hits, less exposure and sales, less promo and fewer performances and it has been almost 6 years since gaga was mainstream and popular. So i think the tour will start and end in 2017 and be as big as the C2C tour.

???

Better promo??? better performances???

the revisionism with ARTPOP lmao

The promo of that album was awful, and Gaga did some of the worst and more rushed performances, for not talk about that by this time ARTPOP's promo was over.

What makes some of you say that Joanne has no promo?

Dive Bar Tour X3

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

SNL

James Corden's Late Late Show

X Factor

Royal Variety Show at the UK

AMAs

tons of radio promotion

SMAP x SMAP

Sukkiri

Alan Carr

SUPERBOWL?

And there are more singles to come. I'm hoping a Jimmy Fallon and Ellen show appearance. Not to mention the tons of TV shows which she can do in other countries once she goes on tour or releases her subsequent singles. Here's hoping for John Wayne.

The album is selling well, the past tour grossed fine, she's already confirmed on Rock in Rio, and still have de SB to come, of course she will be touring. A lot of artist stop having hit singles and keep touring for the rest of their career.

Sometimes here I don't know if people are talking serious or not. : /

The album has sold well and there's lots of promo, there hasn't been a hit single but you're all acting like this isn't Lady Gaga :toofunny: She'll have a big tour just like she normally does and I guarantee Glastonbury and Rock In Rio will be part of those tour dates so expect something big. I swear everyone thinks shes lost her mind because she isn't doing conventional pop music, her albums sold well (also give it a chance it only came out two months ago), she's booked the super bowl and rock in rio and rumoured to be at glastonbury and she's been all over the world promoting.

I enjoy Joanne. I just don't feel the need to pay money to hear the songs live. Meh. The music is meh.

Same. This is what a lot of people will probably think. Plus it's not like there has been any choreo or cool costumes or other theatrics that'll be present

Please Id rather go see an artist that can sing live and serves great vocals without so much theatrics than someone who can't hit 2 notes in a row and masturbates on stage or whatever. I mean they are singers isnt theri job to sing and do the song justice live? The Monster Ball had both great vocals and theatrics and thats why it was so successful and amazing. But The Fame Monster didn't acquire as much vocal skill as Joanne does and the feeling overall is toned down, but Id love to hear her live and be slayed by vocals.

It will flop. Joanne isn't interesting enough to put asses in the seats. Here's hoping the greatest hits album rumor with new material/a new single is true.
