On the contrary both PI & MR grew on me but as hard as I've tried to force myself to like DH it doesn't just do it for me.

Hey, there are just some songs that you'll never love. And I agree, she could have done something to make it even better. It's top notch pop, but I think it's missing that elusive je ne sais quoi (you know, the one that Bad Romance had) to launch it into the upper strata of pop music. But I still love it so :music:

Hey Girl

its the best produced song on the record and stands out. Video would be so cool. Firepower from two fanbases.

Dancin in Circles

The lyrics would get people talking. The sound is relevant. Sexy video.

Angel Down

Grammy worthy. Important message. Pulls at your heartstrings. Vocally the best song on the record.

Honorable mentions: Diamond Heart is catchy. Grigio Girls is empowering and cheerful.

Definite NO: Sinners Prayer would flop. Come to Mama is too cheesy. Just Another Day is forgettable. Ayo is already in the bag. John Wayne has a crap production. Joanne is try hard.

A music video, sing cover art, promotional performances. Seeing a song come to life with compelling visuals. That is why I had a preference for which song became a single.

Since Gaga has made it clear that she has no interest in making this album as visually compelling as her past albums, I can't say I really care what song becomes a single.

Diamond Heart - It sounds so powerful and radio friendly and I also feel it's a tad nostalgic which would work in her favour.

Ayo - She's already in love with it and it's upbeat and from the reception it's already gained it could do well

Sinners Prayer - Literally one of the best songs on the album and the world needs to hear it.

If she releases John Wayne then I am done so done, I don't see the appeal and her performance of it at VS was awful (apart from the wings)

REALITY

My top three single choices are:

Dancin' In Circles - It's one of the most GP friendly songs in my opinion. It's sexy, it compliments modern pop music, and the one song on Joanne that sounds most like her previous songs. I could see this becoming a huge hit, and while the lyrics may be a problem during some parts of the song, the reality is that lyrics don't really mean much when it comes to how the general public perceives a song. There have been plenty of songs with dirty meanings, yet, they're all still popular and have become hits.

A-YO - I think it's pretty clear that this is my next single choice. I love the song, and even before Million Reasons became the new single, I was hoping for A-YO to stay as the second single. Gaga obviously loves the song, and like DIC, I could see this one being a big hit too. It's fun, and in my opinion, it has one of the catchiest choruses I've ever heard from Lady Gaga.

Diamond Heart - I had a difficult time choosing this on, or John Wayne; however, while I still think John Wayne has a lot of potential to be a single, Diamond Heart, like the two above on this list, is extremely GP-friendly, and just sounds like an awesome banger. It's also, just overall, a great song.

Side note, I really hope that she doesn't do a ballad for the next single. While I loved this MR era, and while the live performances slayed, vocal-wise, I'd love to see some choreography, some dancing, and some spectacular performances of more upbeat songs.

Dancing in circles. I like the vibe I get from the song tbh, the songs already seen to be popular with the gp and reminds me of some of her older stuff.

john Wayne. The song gets me so pumped up, everyone low key has a John Wayne in their life...

Grigio Girls. It's only available on the deluxe so probably will never be a single but it's actually my fav song on the album and holds a strong message.

Diamond Heart- My favorite song on Joanne, besides Perfect Illusion. The way she's written autobiographical lyrics in a story-telling manner is so amazing, easily one of her best lyrical work to date.Sweet melody, killer chorus. It's a different, fresh sound for Gaga and people need to hear this masterpiece.

(Can you imagine the MV?)

It's the same for You and I, it never grew on me but I don't hate it.

3. Diamond Heart - I have pictured a music video idea in my head for a while now of Gaga or an actress playing her go-go-ing in a club since she used to be a go-go dancer, with money flying everywhere and a young rebellious Gaga slaying

omg, yes.i had the same thought.Imagine an autobiographical short film like MTN but with a less complicated plot.

Imagine her doing this in the MV
