At this point, it'll only pick up when it debuts on the callout scores. Gaga has no radio power anymore and interscope isn't baking cakes :neyde:

yeah. With radio they don't hate her personally but they do think she can't hear a hit anymore, so they're waiting for proof that listeners will like it. Ie callouts

"It's difficult to make a comparison with previous performers as charts were Monday-Sunday up to 2014 and the Super Bowl is on Sundays so the effect was Split into two weeks...

Last year's Coldplay effect was:

Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams zooms from No. 16 to No. 4 in the wake of the band’s halftime performance during the Super Bowl on Feb. 7. The album shifted 90,000 units (up 265 percent) and sold 71,000 copies (up 372 percent). Also helping matters: the album was deeply discounted in the Google Play store for just 99 cents during the tracking week, while it was also sale priced to $6.99 in the iTunes Store.

But take into account that, unlike Coldplay, that were #16 before the SB, "Joanne" will be around #60 next week on BB200... with probably 4k pure sales and 7k units.

Katy Perry's boost was smaller:

In terms of specific albums and songs from this year's two main halftime performers, the biggest-selling album of the Feb. 1 week was Perry's most recent release, Prism. It sold 9,000 copies (up 146 percent) and climbs 85-35 on the Top Album Sales chart dated Feb. 14. Perry also re-enters the chart with her two earlier albums: Teenage Dream (No. 38 with 8,000; up 527 percent) and One of the Boys (No. 75 with 4,000; up 263 percent).
On the Billboard 200 chart, which ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, Prism flies 57-28 with 16,000 album equivalent units earned in the week (up 85 percent). Teenage Dream zips 152-33 (14,000 units; up 223 percent) and One of the Boys re-enters at No. 113 (5,000 units; up 204 percent).

If her boost was similar to Coldplay's:
4k pure sales and a 372% increase would mean 14,880 copies (pure sales).
7k units and a 265% increase would mean 18,550 copies (sps)

I think it would be bigger than that, maybe 20k pure sales and 30k sps, but 50-60k would be too much.

(Unless, of course that you're talking about all her albums combined reaching 50-60k combined and not only Joanne. In that case, I agree.)

Let's hope that her team/Interscope don't mess it up and heavily discount the álbum to 99 cents like Coldplay and it's on iTunes frontpage."
