A vocal show-off, that actually sucks in quality. When they hear her vocals, they're shocked and impressed even though the song isn't actually good they just love the fact she can sing so good. Hence it having a good initial boost, then flopping days later once the public realizes the song actually sucks. Those type of ballads where singers just show their vocal acrobatics and the song actually sucks stopped being hits once the 90s ended and that's why it will never actually take off. Million Reasons has no place being a hit in 2017, and should've never been a single. Wake up Spoiler Omg, nobody cares about Million Reasons. Stop forcing that spam. It flopped, is OVER, and already got so much promotion. She didn't even perform Perfect Illusion when it was a single, and now she's performing this crappy song 8 years later. Literally when you look back at the live performances for this era EVERY single one will have Million Reasons, and it still flopped. An embarrassment. John Wayne though... whew, I love a classic. Hope America agrees! Spoiler John Wayne has so much potential wow -- Can do well on Spotify. (Actually appeals to Spotify's audience unlike MR) -- Can do well on Radio. (Killer hook. Something MR fails to have) -- Can have a good music video. (Something MR was never destined to have, with it's mopey boring Celine Dion vibe) Ahh.
