Her problem with streaming is that she "unfortunately" became big in 2009-2011, missing the big years in which streaming rose. If her peak was in 2012-2014, we wouldn't have any problems right now. And i honestly think there's no much to do to improve this, apart having a fu--ing smash hit.

The problem is she missed the period where streaming became huge by being absent. ARTPOP barely lasted 6 months (i don't take GUY as a buzz single/artrave as part of the ARTPOP as they happened too late after the album release). She didn't need to be at her peak, I'm sure even moderate hits and collabs would've helped her. But she decided to be out of the spotlight, doing covers/tributes and we all know how she feels about collabing with her peers

I'm really looking for Taylor's new album debut numbers tbh. She might not be pulling 1M with streaming nowadays, but I hope she gets around 750k PS and over 1M with SPS. We'll see how the biggest popstar on the planet goes with her next era

Yup, that was me. Sadly I wasn't allowed to talk about anything else Gaga related and mention Joanne. But I did get a lot of great response. People in the audience were impressed by her personality, which is often overlooked her since she's never on tv. Also the host has warmed up to Gaga after her Superbowl and Oscar performances and he is pretty stubborn and 'old fashioned' when it comes to pop, so I'm glad I got to nudge him in the right direction even more. She's so 'forgotten' here in Holland, it's quite sad actually
