Which Gaga song (from each album) do you think is the extreme when it comes to the album's "feel" or prominent genres?

Like the most different?

I'd say... Summerboy (it doesn't fit anywhere, awful song), Teeth, Fashion Of His Love, Jewels N' Drugs, John Wayne (even though it's one of my faves)

Opss... I think you mean the one that represents better the feel of the album, right? :toofunny:

i think just another day really represents joanne, it totally fits what she tried to say with the album because that song really simplifies her life, reclaiming her humanity, living life just like anyone else

I think the title tracks of each album explain the essence of them tbh.

The Fame: talks about the lifestyle of being rich and famous, the good side to fame.

Monster: talks about the fear of loving someone that's bad for you and being attached (as well as the literal meaning that you can google :giggle:) which goes with the albums 'fear of' message in each song as well as the dark side of fame.

Born This Way: expressing yourself and being true to who you are which is the biggest message that it gives and goes with the whole album.

ARTPOP: explaining the concept of putting art and creativity to the main focus of music rather than having the corporate world (music labels) taking creativity from the artists. it can mean anything to anyone really which is what ARTPOP and the album is about.

Cheek 2 Cheek: a classic jazz standard that sings about dancing together with ones partner and compliments the record.

Joanne: talks about the passing of her aunt being too soon, wondering where she is going but can't stop her. This can also be interpreted into Joanne being Gaga, and she's asking herself where is she going in her life. This goes with the records autobiographical theme with no massive concept in the centre like previous albums.

I was talking more about the sound of the song, not necessarily the purpose/lyrics, but great analysis regardless

So the song that represents the best the concept of the album, in terms of music ?

The Fame : Lovegame

The Fame Monster : Dance in the Dark

Born this Way : Born this Way, or Black Jesus honestly

ARTPOP : I don't think a single song can represent the album... What I liked about it is there were a lot of different meanings and messages and it goes in a lot of directions musically... I could say ARTPOP, G.U.Y, Swine, Mary Jane Holland, Applause... Each of them displays a different message and I couldn't choose one.

Joanne : Same as ARTPOP actually, but less extreme. Maybe Diamond Heart, Joanne, Million Reasons.

I think the most bold/creative songs constructively from each album are:

The Fame - Starstruck

The Fame Monster - Teeth

Born This Way - Bloody Mary

ARTPOP - Aura

Joanne - Come To Mama
