Dark Anatomy 2,284
I actually really loved the first 10 years of the 2000's. Minus the economy and 9/11. The music was lit, the tv shows were awesome, and everybody seemed happier. There was a perfect blend between technology and realism.

RAMROD 109,352
I disagree. I still live in Asia back in early 2000s and clear as day to me, when MTV was still playing music vidrleos. And everyone would either request bubblegum pop like NYSNC, BSB, A1, 5IVE, Westlife, Britney, Xtina, or Hip Hop/R&B like Eminem, Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Amerie, Ashanti, Desriniy's Child, Gwen Stefani, PCD, JoJo, or Rap Metal like Linkin Park or Limp Bizkit on Most Wanted. And MTV Asia Hit List every weekend charted that kind of songs too. And MTV Land were airing the same kind of vibe of music videos. And they relayed the TRL too direct from USA I remember I was fan of MTV Asia VJs at the time, Mike Kasem, Jamie Aditya, Sarah Sechan, Donita Rose, Utt, and Nadya Hutagalung Maybe you were focusing on.the wrong side of 2000s, man. Where everyone was crazy in doing Asereje dance and stuffs
Luxe Ford 3,481
It might be to soon to say, but what signifies the 2000's to me is that...nothing really signifies it! I mean, all earlier decades have a sort of definite feel to them. The 20s (flappers, jazz, women smokers) and 60s were times of rebellion and liberation (the sexual revolution because of 'the pill', Woodstock), thr 80's (power dressing, Reaganism/Thatcherism). In the 2000's we're mostly rehashing old ideas. Fashion moves faster than ever, individual taste is stronger than ever, the Internet has changed everything and will continue to change it and us in ways we can't even predict. I think its a question of not seeing the forest for all the trees. It's an exciting, frightening, scary and very interesting time to live in. The identity of the...10's I guess we can call it, seems to be that its identityless. But its very difficult to notice when trends start. Ugh...VR. Or actually yay, but I won't get on that train just yet. It will be inevitable some day soon, but technology is only great whem someone makes great use of it and we're not quite there yet. 360/VR is a toddler right now. I remember when it was a baby, and babies are useless. What happens in Luxe Ford stays in Luxe Ford

Luxe Ford 3,481
One long term trend in the 00's is that practically *everyone* is up to trend. Being trendy used to be for just a clique, but the Internet has made everyone able to catch up on trends. People are more beautiful, too. So in a twisted way, being trendy and keeping up with the latest all the time *should* go out of fashion as the inevitable cyclical rule of influences go. Posting all your meals on Instagram ought to go first. I mean how many "yummie" and "looks sooo tasty" posts can you enjoy?
