Also the idea that she's not a badass anymore because she wants to talk about social issues and spread kindness is just really odd. She's never been more than a badass than right now

Based on this I feel you are either very privileged, very cynical, or a sociopath (or all of the above) because a lack of ability to feel empathy tends to be a result of some sort of built-in isolation and rather uncommon. Have you read The Sociopath Next Door by Martha Stout? It's quite fascinating. I'm also not suggesting that you are a sociopath or any of those things because obviously nobody on an Internet forum can truly make that conclusion, but having fought real sociopaths before and being aware of the patterns it does kind of raise a red flag.

I'm sorry, what was the point of this thread? To try to get a rise out of other anti-PC "heroes" who "aren't afraid to tell it how it is"? 

I have seen no significant change in Gaga's demeanor surrounding social issues. She has always made it clear what matters to her, and even if a fan can't relate to these issues, I think her passion is an inspiration in itself.

She actually wants to spread kindness, which is far more admirable than minimizing the pain of others.

Gaga is standing up for herself and speaking out instead of holding it all in, as she used to do. Gaga is creating a public dialogue to help change the ways in which people perceive certain issues, just as she has done in the past on other subjects, that she also had a hand in changing how things are perceived by the public, in a great and brave way, as people against her mindset are calling her a whiney celebrity, lazy, a victim and too privileged in many ways to have a minority opinion on an issue.

Gaga is using her platform to help make this sorry world a better and more tolerable place.

Gaga is also taking risks in her current work, against what is expected of her and is living with the majority of her fanbase taking jabs at her and disrespecting her, but she is still doing her thing IN A PROUD and loud way.

People like You are the ones crying every day, in front of your computer screen, NOT Gaga.

So. You'd rather follow celebrities who are superficial and just give the hits and don't have human cares about all else? Follow some other useless celebrity. There are plenty for you to follow.
