Much of her philosophy is still the same, in my opinion. I just think she may have trouble communicating that properly. 

Plus, she's recently opened up a lot of things, so I just think we're seeing a more vulnerable Gaga, which I completely respect. She's always tried to put on this big persona for us, that I think, sometimes it was hard for her to take it off—she actually says so in the CBS Sunday Morning interview.

With Joanne, I think she, in some cases, has taken off that "persona". That's not to say Gaga herself was a persona, but, what I'm saying is that right now, I think she's just in a vulnerable position, so that may be why things seem different or misconstrued.

I used to be able to push them out and focus on her songs/performance but her mental state has been very pervasive recently, it's hard not to take note
