From day 1 people in this fanbase have been BEGGING her to explore more analog sounds like she always did before The Fame or during certain live performances. Joanne is exactly that.

Monsters always bitch and moan when the ballads aren't made singles. So for this album she made sure to promote a ballad for months. 

Monsters whined at MTN and GUY being 15 minutes long because it allegedly made those singles perform worse. GaGa started making 5 minute videos.

 

I can't see anything about the Joanne era that wasn't very specifically asked for by many LMs.

I have never seen such arrogance then if this is the case. Seriously. 

Its selfish and superficial. 

Her you are, you create this fanbase based on art that liberated the minds and hearts of those you claim are like you. Outsiders. And then you decide to start talking about how you're an artist, and then you get mad when people treat you as one?  Can we just agree to disagree and admit she prob isn't having this mentality that you have, because I'm sure she's grateful she ever even was noticed  and had fans since day one. I mean st this point who care what her career is like, because she already became a star , so I'm sure she takes that into consideration and has stopped being a victim of her own mind   I'm sure she's free. And being free means you can accept your fans may not like some stuff. Don't should get to her. So let's let people just express and live and ****. Ego is not something i ever thought nor think she has.

I don't understand the leap in logic from making music for her fans to having an unchecked ego
