oheyitso 2,785 Posted December 15, 2016 Share Posted December 15, 2016 So we know AYO was originally the second single, and the Apple Music commercial for AYO has been seen so many times to being so similar to some of the Million Reasons video. We also know that each Joanne video will be a continuation of the last. So with this in mind, when Gaga switched from AYO to Million Reasons, she knew that some of the video shot for the Apple Commercial had to be in the Million Reasons video so it allows it to continue to smoothly to the AYO video (which, again, features some of the Apple Music stuff included in the AYO commercial) With this in mind, Gaga knew that with the change of single, there had to be a simple video for Million Reasons that would transition into the video already made for AYO. Else she would have to film a new AYO video AND a new Million Reasons video. Gaga never planned to have a video for Million Reasons yet (until it would fit with the chronology of the Joanne videos) or have it as a single (it was too personal) and subsequently had to shoot a last minute video that included the Apple Music bits. So she edited some of the footage she took from the set + the new B&W bits to make a simple but important video that slotted between Perfect Illusion and AYO. The end of the Million Reasons video is of her standing with the guitar (presumably for Apple Music), this could quite easily continue to AYO, where she, say, strips off the hat and the suit with the costume she wears in the Apple Music commercial for AYO. And then the rest of the AYO video that's already been planned. Does this mean the AYO video will follow from Million Reasons? And come pretty soon? We'll see. Don't get me wrong, I like the video, but there must be a reason for this lack of new footage. Don't come @ me, I do like the video, I just think there's a reason it's so simple.
