This started during the ARTPOP era and that was only 5 years into her career. Some would even argue it started even before that with Marry The Night becoming her first real flop. If we can be sure about something is that the gp loves the song. Everytime it was performed somewhere its sales increase with a lot. For example, without beeing on radio or having a video, last week without a discount the Victoria s Secret performance had similar increases if not bigger with Bruno Mars and The Weeknd hit singles. The problem is that radio for some reason doesnt want to play it. Another problem is that we dont have a video, not that the gp doesnt like the song, because it does.
