It is true, these laws won't be passed because Pro Gay Trump would never allow them to. Trump HAS been pro gay longer for Hillary, it is a fact, or do I need to play you the tapes of Hillary saying Anti LGBT things.

We wouldn't have so many anti LGBT people (like his vice) in his team if LGBT rights were important to him

He also made a list of judges he wants to get into the Supreme Court and most of them are anti LGBT too. And it doesn't matter if Clinton was against gays when she's not now, while he is

No one should be worried, but we have certain members on this site ( @Larry Hill , cough cough) who think that simply gaining a majority in two branches of government means a party will be able to pass an extreme agenda of hate.

Two of the Justices on the court right now are eighty and eighty three. One, or both, may want to retire in the next four years. 

I wouldn't be so sure about 2020. The millennials have proven themselves to be unreliable voters. If Dems can't get back the rust belt, Trump could have another four years.

RBG can stick in for another 4, she is extremely lucid. Hopefully. Plus it's not like a radical could get appointed by the senate...

Also, Trump didn't win because Trump was great, he won because Hillary was one of the worst candidates we as a party have ever nominated. I mean, she had CLEAR scandals that were going to be breaking all throughout the campaign, and we ran relatively disorganized and small campaign efforts in states that were really should have invested more in but we got too tied up in our national lead (e.g. Michigan).

And this is coming from somebody who WORKED directly for Hillary's campaign

Whether or not Trump is pro gay rights isn't the point. The Congress and the Supreme Court makes the decisions, and they are anti gay rights.

Trump surrounded himself with those racist, homophobic, sexist politicians while in a field that he is unfamiliar with.

Trump won because there were enough people in key states that showed up to vote. He won with white men, Republicans that always come home, and people who want their credit cards and adjustable rate mortgages back. He beat out 15 other candidates to get the nomination. 

Any Democrat was going to go with progressive policies and immigration reform. It was a year that people wanted change, more than anything. It was going to be a difficult year for Dems, no matter how you want to look at it. Progress takes time and it was coming too fast for many people. Add in the fear trend over immigration that we see in many countries right now...and there you have it.

I absolutely disagree with you haha, so I guess we will have to agree to disagree. 

I whole heartedly think had Democrats run someone like Bidden or Warren or even f*cking Tim Kaine, we would have won.

It was Hillary's race to lose from the beginning. It was just one major scandal after another, so unclean. Opposite of what you want in a candidate. 

Comey would have never been able to throw a win to trump if Bidden ran, or even sanders for that matter who I'm certainly not a fan of.
