The radio plays people like Daya, Alessia Cara & Zara Larsson No offense but these three are more relevant than Gaga currently. By relevant I mean their names/songs have been on people's tongues for the past year. We really have to understand that while Gaga is iconic, it doesn't mean people will automatically run to her with every album release (save for us, her fans). Gaga needs to get lucky with a single for that to happen just like Daya, Alessia, and Zara all had. It's really unfair to the latter three tbh. Their music is catchy and with a mixture of luck they managed some hits, especially since if you pay attention to music.lys, Instagram posts etc. you'll most definitely hear some kind of overplayed song (Closer and Don't Let Me Down for example), and that keeps the hype going in the mainstream. I have yet to hear a cover of Million Reasons from any of my favorite singers on Insta so far. But again, I'm not really active on social media either. And disclaimer: While hearing Gaga being overplayed everywhere would feel so good We should really just let things run their course. That Spotify streaming thread I saw a while back was just too desperate I honestly am starting to feel bad for this fanbase.

She can still do the right thing by going on GMA, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel/Fallon...etc. You know, **** that doesn't only attracted million of viewers during its original airing but also other viewers who'll watch it later on YouTube 'Trending', it attracts a wide audience; but wtf would radio interviews do? Seriously, No body's here for them except her fans + if she's doing it to have good ties with the stations to play her music more often, it's obviously not working. So why not cut the **** from now and act as if you/your team have some common sense. /rant Best comment I've seen in a while
Lord Temptation 11,209
I'm anUber driver so I have the radio on all the time in the car but I have not yet heard PI or MR even once. Not even once. So yeah something's not adding up.

She's performed it at about 924 events in the past month and it isn't getting any buzz. Sometime's it's as simple as that Its not getting any buzz? The point of this post is that, despite the buzz its getting, its getting no radio play. Also the GP likes it... it skyrocketed to #1 after carpool Karaoke and after her other performances the song continued to rise, its only not staying because of lack of radio play. Tellerphone 123
Sadly, I think it's just that the GP simply don't really care for Gaga anymore.

Bye 3,947
Idiotic responses in this thread. If you think MR is boring you probably don't like ballads in general (or simply like a few select ballads). And the GP does like it, it's been getting great response each and every time it got promo. How can you say the GP doesn't like it because the song can't sustain its positions? It's simply because radio isn't playing it, so how can you expect the song to sustain its commercial power? Lucas 26,713
You guys can't compare Hello that was extremely hyped and was released by an artist that everyone loves and Million Reasons which is the opposite.... Million Reasons is really not radio friendly, people were interested in the song mostly because of Gaga's raw vocals I believe, that's why it had some kind of success, but it's not what radio plays
prince 4,688
PI didn't do well and MR is doing ok but the radio won't pick a ballad thats doing "ok" to play on the radio. She needs a hit that the radio will grab and after that they will start supporting her other ventures more
