Oh definitely, I'm not saying that she isn't completely irrelevant or anything, what I'm saying is that she isn't getting the attention that, say, Selena Gomez, or Justin Bieber, or Rihanna, or Taylor Swift, or Beyonce is getting. They're who's popular, and music has changed as well, Joanne certainly doesn't fit today's music standards.

Sometime's it's as simple as that

the gp didn't like PI, we could see that in its itunes positions and call out scores. But they like MR, look at the sales jump that happens after promo or the comments on the audio

OT: I think PI's awful reception damaged radio for the Joanne era. It is growing, but slowly, I think a video could cause a breakthrough though.

It's not her relevance, it's her "cool factor". She's just not cool, or "hip" in the eyes of the youth anymore, at least from what I can see. That's why if she cared about being popular I think she would have put out a bunch of radio friendly bops and "give em what they want" so to speak.

Gaga could easily get her "cool factor" back if she wanted to. But she'd rather follow her heart regardless of how it plays out on the radio/charts. It's respectable but a little frustrating for those that dream of her having another hit song

They're probably not playing it because radio stations sometimes already have a plan of what songs they're going to play, which are the most popular at the moment. So unless the song had a brand new music video that people are talking about, I don't see them playing Million Reasons, plus it's a ballad and I think it's boring to play it when you have Closer, Bieber, Drake, etc. all of these party songs. Yes, Adele's Hello was on the radio but it was her post-21 moment, of course she was everywhere.

People are just not interested in Gaga anymore and that was bound to happen some day. She's not the "cool popstar" anymore, So unless the song starts getting popular on streaming services, I don't see it being played there that much. I mean, if people request it they will play it some day, but not as often as the others.

If the label don't pay for it, I doubt radio will play particular song regardless the requests.

I genuinely feel like the execution was just botched on its release. It rose on iTunes because of Carpool Karaoke, she waited to switch the single officially to MR until its reign on iTunes was already declining, a music video has yet to be released, and the slew of performances for it came after its initial peak (and a majority of them haven't been in the U.S. market; it seems like she's promoting it a ton, but the only major performances of it I can think of in the U.S. have been the AMAs and Carpool). 

Once again, the music's there, but execution and promo have been messy.
