Has anyone gotten a Five Nights at Freddy's banner ad on the right side of their screen on this website recently? I swiping back from a forum to the main page and for like half a second, I saw Freddy standing in the ad section looking at me, then the page refreshed, and now he won't come back. I don't even have the game downloaded on my computer.

Oohh interesting! Am a FNAFster. I wanna see it! :lolly:

It would be so like Scott to do something like that. But it won't come back. I've refreshed GGD like 15000 times. It was only for a brief second and it was Freddy leaning over staring "at you"

I legit do not see how people find that game interesting or scary :saladga:

Not to mention it's so old. It was already in the creepypasta/tumblr/horr communities well before the years it was popular.

Horror is taste, just like humor. Where people may not be afraid of FNAF (it relies most on suspense and jump scares) others may dislike it.

I hate most horror that relies on blood. Gorror is not scary, just tacky.

It's not that it's scary, it's just the jumpscares, but you get used to them. Eventually you get to a point where you can even anticipate them. Personally I love the FNAF games because of the lore. It kept people guessing for ages, and I think it's pretty clever.

This x 1000

Gore is like dressing for horror movies. The right amount helps the unsettling factor and atmosphere of a horror movie. But too much can drown the movie and just make it unwatchable.

Also hate how people automatically label a lot of movies horror because they have gore in them or are very gruesome. Thrillers, dark comedies, dramas, and action movies can be just as gruesome.

And many American movies tend to add in gore like it's ranch dressing.

I only like gore if it's realistic as well. I mean there is some unrealistic gore I like, but that''s in videogames, which are an entirely different ballpark and heads should asplode with blood.

It's kind of the reason I find myself really interested in more east asian oriented stuff, as they lack blood. While I have never watched anything actually, Ive been meaning to watch the Grudge, Mirrors, and similar things, but in their original versions. Dubbing outside of animation is awful.

I am the type of person who prefers horror where your spine is left tingling. The Nothing is there type of horror. I prefer a silent creep or something similar. I also enjoy jumpscares, but like when they're done well. Like in Until Dawn videogame.

God, until Dawn has probably permanently altered my heartbeat.
