It wasn't big enough to be nominated :nails: quality always loses.

Cause it was a sleeper hit and didn't end up being a hit till a lot later. (Around Nov/Dec 2015) but would that be enough to change the eligibility? (TOP is overrated and sell outs these days so who cares.)

Commercially successful =/= sell out, honey.

How are they overrated if Tyler writes all their stuff, they are pretty humblr, they don't care about awards, both Tyler and Josh are very down to Earth, and they are not extra or "divas". They didn't sell out and they sure didn't come out of nothing, they worked their asses off. The band has been up since 2009, Tyler worked very hard for their big break, they didn't had one, their fans were the main reason for their success. They are not sellouts and they are not on the business for the money, Tyler writes street poetry to deal with hix anxiety and Josh drums hard, because that's how he deals with his demons. They love the live shows, Tyler doesn't even like to choose singles, because he thinks that albums are parts of himself (since he wrotes all of the songs based on his life) and he doesn't like to choose which part should represent them.

If you think their music are all the same genera, then I suggest you shoul listen to this:

POPULARITY.

That's why I'm glad Gaga isn't out writing music to solely win awards or recognition. She just wants to create and share music (and make coins on it as well :giggle:)

Since when Tyler and Josh noly care about money?  WTF? They literally worked their ass off to reach to the point they are right now, they don't like to be famous, it stressed them, they both suffer from social anxiety, Tyler's talks too much about how he misses when they were small and could hang out with the fans after the shows, and could go eat a taco at taco bell without having to take body guards to push away the papparazzi. They also just want to create and share music with the fans, music that helps the Skeleton Clique to go through life, like, I can honestly say that their music saved my life, their lyrics helped me with my self harm issues. I'm very grateful.

Omg I know all of these songs already. I've been a fan of them since their first album. Blurryface was basically pure pop. Stressed out is their worst song and ended up becoming their biggest hit. The first time I saw them they played in a venue of less than 1,000 people, the last time they came around they played in an arena of 20,000. Maybe they didn't sell out, but for me they lost their appeal with Blurryface.
