But  again the  chainsmokers got a nom so.... :whitney:

But to answer your question should Glory have gotten one no. It's bland and lacks a lot IN MY OPINION there are a few gems but like one or two otherwise no. Britney can dig  deeper.

no, Britney has the reputation of being too manufactured in the sense that she has no real role in the making of her music.

Until she can disprove this by maybe singing live/ not being a robot, she wont receive any Grammy nominations

This tbh

I don't really see how you would ever expect anything like that from Britney :awkney: Britney has never ever been actually experimental or really deep and mature. She was never pushing boundaries in terms of her music. So when she didn't even do that in her peak ,why would she do that now?

In The Zone is the actual proof that she can do something personal and mix different genres and try new things and experiment. Plus it would be such a loss to never hear her make actual serious & mature songs about motherhood or simply songs about being a woman in this society or even songs about her breakdown. She could try making songs about issues she has encountered or simply about her life or songs about her convictions.

Making songs about sex is really getting boring but I won't complain if she keeps on making songs like she usually do cause I do need songs I can bop to.

But all in all I don't know, I just feel like she could do so much more but never wants to.

We, her fans, are also to blame, we never speak up about her lip synching, we just accept it and the one time we voiced our wish for her to make a personal album we got Britney Jean.

Did you even read or saw interviews she did about Glory? It seems to me that you didn't.

You can stay uneducated and believe that because someone doesn't have a large vocabulary to describe their work automatically means they had zero input on it.

I don't understand why you would tell me to stay in 1999 cause she actually had zero input in her debut album.

RUDE!

I am not saying that she CAN'T do a more personal album. I am saying that WE can't expect her to do that because she has never been that type of artist

Well I'm the type of a person who is really open minded and thinks that anything can happen seriously. Britney will turn 40 in 5 years, maybe she will one day feel the need to make a serious, mature, personal & experimental album.

Lol I used to think Britney was not a Grammy artist but after Justin Bieber and Anaconda, the award has lost its value.

Don't get me wrong: I love Glory as much as the next gay, but it's such an on-trend album. There's nothing new or groundbreaking on this album and she has writing credits for 5 of the 12 songs:awkney:
