Sorry I t he was right. She was over exposed in 2013 and not in a good way especially with the Madonna feud. But it's 2016 and that's not the case anymore.

At no point did he say she was untalented. He just said the GP was over it. I'm pretty sure we can all agree in that.  

Why drag up the past like this? It's wasn't a drag on his part, he was just reacting to how the GP received ARTPOP.

The thing about "songs coming back into fashion" is, that's something that very much favors Gaga, to the extent that it ever actually happens.

He did say she was the most boring singer in the world back in 2011:

“If you only ever heard Lady GaGa, she’s the most boring singer in the world. [...] Same with Beyoncé. Or Katy Perry.”

We can all easily assume he's pressed he can't find people as successful as these in his manufactured shows. Just look at One Direction (undeniably one of his biggest finds until now), they came after Gaga and are already gone.

OD broke up. Otherwise they'd still be making hit albums and selling out tours. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are still doing well. Plus newer acts like Little Mix and 5H have decent careers.  But what does that have to do with the fact that Gaga was over exposed in 2013 and the GP said no to ARTPOP. That's all he said nothing more and he didn't say the album was bad just that the GP didn't like it. A glance at how much she sold can tell you the same thing.
