Ariana is at the peak of her career However, the impact and legacy of Gaga is definitely bigger. Gaga can still sell more albums and tour tickets and to be frank, I don't think Ariana can ever make an impact on pop culture like Gaga did during her peak years. Neither Tour has started yet, so we'll see which does better. and yeah, no could argue against Gagas peak, I was talking presently. Gagas peak was like 5 years ago. Ariana is hitting the radios, but her name is still miles away from Gaga's, even without a hit at the moment. Ariana, the way her career is holding, needs a few more years of constant presence on the radios to become as big as Gaga. Gaga has memorable performances, those that people will always recall, something Ariana hasn't. Gaga has the signature looks, Ariana doesn't. Gaga has the voice, so does Ariana I guess. Gaga has the "best music videos ever", the "best pop songs ever", singles like Just Dance are still constantly referenced in pop music reviews. Not with Ariana. Sure, Ariana enjoys the success now, while Gaga is apparently stuck in everything she has done in 2009 and her latest efforts fail to make a true impact. But still, she is bigger. Cheek to Cheek was not the best selling album of the year, but the old jazz legend + pop eccentric act will always be one of the most memorable tricks in music, believe me. Gaga has done things and made a household name for herself as far as I'm concerned. She's iconic in many people's eyes and continues to rise to ultimate legendary status. Ariana still has some ways to go yet before I'd say she's made an impact on culture. She's a talented, beautiful girl and I am a fan of hers, so no shade here either, but I don't know how much longevity she has. No, she may not be the biggest radio star or have the most top 10s at the moment, but everyone knows who Gaga is. Ariana is more popular at the moment and I believe has potential to become an icon.
