Essentially, yes. 

Some of what made the GGD Christmas advents popular in years past was papercraft like the Christmas cards and handmade paperdoll ornaments. Many monsters choose to involve the family (siblings, kids, etc) in creating the paper garlands/paper dolls, so it adds a new fun way to enjoy Gaga during the holidays, beyond just the audio/video download aspects. 

A lot of people over the years have also lamented that there are so few Lady Gaga christmas ornaments when she has such .... Ornament potential (d*amn that sounds objectifying of me but I think you know what I mean)
