Most of your points are extensions upon extensions. Nothing but fear-mongering and you know it. You can thank Hillary's tens of millions of dollars advertising plan for warping your views so unnecessarily. Too bad she didn't have a motivational agenda of her own. The right guy won. Stop pretending like the world will now become a racist cesspool. You found conclusions and are now searching for evidence. Feel free to bookmark me, then in 4 years, come back and admit that you were under the influence of Hillary Clinton, who ran the most negative ad campaign in decades. :emma:

What are "extensions of extensions"? Nothing you said engages with any of my points. Typical Trump supporter logic. Deflect the truth and deny reality. Blame Hillary for as much as you can and ignore the rest.

Also, the world was already a racist cesspool. Read some history. Trump has just made those racists feel vindicated.

You basically didn't respond to anything I said :awkney:

But I'll go in I guess :madge:

It's fine if you find him inspirational, telling, but fine. Ignorance is not "on the rise", its been the norm for basically all of human civilization. Progressive, "radical", liberal ideas are on the rise in young people, also I don't see any marked increase in Trump supporters on this specific forum, not sure where you are seeing it. I think people have always been here, but its not like Hillary supporters are now Pro-Trump, some have accepted his presidency but are still going to fight against intolerant and ignorant policy, which is totally acceptable.

Fox news has pretty much always dominated media coverage in terms of viewership and its the news network with the most egregious offenses in ethical journalism :emma: Any republican who actually knows what ethical or good journalism is would tell you that  To make the claim that half the country came to their senses and realized that liberal media was a bunch of lies is totally a shot in the dark. That "half of the country" never watched liberal media in the first place, they get their news from Facebook articles and Fox News, or they don't even watch the news, let alone read it, they hear about it from someone. That's how you get people who think Hillary literally is a murderer :saladga: Also, fact checkers, science, research, objectivity, they just aren't on your side. They aren't always on liberal media's side either, but at least this side considers them important :smh:  If you actually talk to people who don't just consume information, but they generate it, they study it, they live it, they will tell you the truth. (I mean, or you could learn to critically analyze information but most of America can't do that :green: )

Finally, his points weren't extensions at all, they are pretty direct and out in the open. There is no rabbit hole of collusions required to come to the conclusion that these two people are some degree of racist. In the case of Steve Bannon, there is a whole slew of evidence. You're incorrectly assuming that we've presupposed their guilt. If saying racist things, doing racist things, supporting or not denying racist things, and believing racist things doesn't make you a racist, then what does? Is it literally only lynching black people because you think they are inferior as a race to white people? Is it literal nazism? I didn't hear "Jeff Sessions is racist!" and say "Well, if MSNBC says so, it must be true  " (I don't even watch MSNBC, I haven't in two years)  I looked it up from various sources and analyzed what was fact and fiction and priming and framing, what amount of bias was overwhelming or tolerable (because there is always bias). And then I said "yeah, hes racist, or has at least done and said racist things :emma: "

It's called being a rational, critical thinker. On the flip side, if right wing media says something, despite their vast history of slant and sometimes flat out lying to their viewers, I still think about it before I come to a definitive conclusion for myself.

Also, said nothing about gay this time, so I won't touch that.

I did respond to the points addressed in your previous posts, but didn't respond to points that didn't pertain to what part of the discussion I was involving myself with. There's this assumption that anyone that defends any part of Trump is defending every part, and that's simply not the case. I don't agree with everything he does, and I even voted for Hillary. That doesn't take away from the fact that her campaign was a horrible plague upon the American public, and before you think I'm pivoting, let me just make my point and be clear that her campaign is the sole reason why so many people fear and have terror over the idea of Trump being president. Most of the assumptions about him are absolutely not correct, and it's a shame to see just how much the culture of fear and intimidation the liberal agenda has been allowed to push, and at this point it's unnecessary and harmful. It might have had good roots, but look where it is now. It is shameful.

Therefore, my point about the members he's appointing to his cabinet does not defend them outright. There are issues with some of them, which I did acknowledge previously, but there is in no way this deep-seated divide between what the country needs, and what they will be able to provide. There's an assumption that Trump picked them because they are "racist," and because they will "further the agenda of the KKK." This is simply false, and this is 100% what the assumption is or it wouldn't be the main talking point. That's unfair and ridiculous. Hillary called black people super-predators, which she apologized for, she has lied about so many things it's ridiculous to even have to list them - has insulted countless groups of people: Bernie supporters, Trump supporters, government officials, other women, other countries, and while these are sometimes talking points for the Republican Party, they're also talking points for a reason, because these are things she's actually done, and could be easily spun in a manner that indicates that she is working against every facet of the public. However, as the point pertains to the cabinet appointees, Hillary is not directly involved with that decision, but it's important to compare and contrast how statements or decisions in the past are held against some people, but are ignored when it comes to others, and this deluge of negative propaganda about Trump's appointees is not just some benign coincidence.

You indicated that "someone said something, which indicated this, which led to this, which means this," which is an extension upon an extension. I'm sure there are more straightforward points to belittle the new cabinet appointees, but that was the position that you took, so I addressed it.

Indicating that Trump gave racists a platform would imply that he did something inherently wrong. You have to look at his actions  and policies. He is for supporting our country and deporting illegal immigrants that have committed major crimes. I know that it's now "not politically correct" to support this country and not have to tax the American public by giving free supports and services to every other country on earth, but let's pick and choose our battles here. Since when were we expected to abandon our own country? That's what his message is. The build-on off of that proposal is strictly due to media coverage. They're the ones that have been twisting his words, even so far as to saying that he wants to deport every immigrant, including his wife, Melania. That's outrageous. If you look at what he says, and look at what he actually proposes, it is in defense of this country and following federal laws. The Obama administration has deported more illegal immigrants than past administrations but I guess nobody likes to talk about that.

How are the things the cabinet members did and said "extensions of extensions"?

It's a cast of clowns. A climate change denier to run the EPA? A billionaire with no teaching experience and a history of oposing public school funding and reform in charge of education? It's awful.
