if your definition of "best" is "monetary success at all costs irregardless of physical and mental health" than Troy is your guy.   Troy is brilliant as a businessman but treated Gaga like a product.

This is the 2016 election all over again; both options are terrible, and we all know that we'd much rather have a socialist jew running the show.

A manager isn't supposed to be your sweet lil best friend that holds your hand; they're supposed to help you achieve success. The answer is obvious. It's the one who took her from this:

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

Both are good managers when it comes to Gaga's success. I think it's slightly unfair to choose until Bobby gets more years in to match Troy's.

Some of you guys think a manger like controls her life. if gaga doesn't want to do something you came blame her team for stuff like that. she's not like a robot and her manager is not her controller. gaga can say no I don't want to do, no I want to go this route and if they won't let her she'll say bye bye i.e. Troy. so stop acting like cuz gaga had success only because of her old manager you do know Troy was still her manager at the beginning of ARTPOP and the end of btw but y'all seem to over look that :lolga:

Someone who nearly worked her to a breaking point, and that she didn't seem to gel with, doesn't mean he's a better manager for her now. Penciling her in to attend every random gig on the planet (as in Germany's Next Top Model when she was already an established star), as well as associating her with corny stuff like Farmville (which didn't suit the Born this Way era at all), is kind of overkill. Even Troy himself said he wasn't sure he was that great at maintaining a star, as opposed to the initial "pound the pavement & make them a star!" stage. After the initial stardom, an image has to be cultivated.

Plus, she seems happy with Bobby, and not to mention Bobby booked her an Oscar stage and the damn Superbowl. I know you guys take issue with the lack of Spotify and radio slayage (and IA, watching MR attempts to finally take off is frustrating), but I'm not even sure they have control over that tbh, and what choices might be up to the label. We also have to consider that there are days now where Gaga has terrible chronic pain, and will likely not be traversing all over the planet playing random Jingle Ball gigs in Slovenia or whatever.

Hard to judge, it's too early to evaluate Bobby's work. Though Troy was a genius, he might be the main culprit for her downfall, but he's a damn genius that brought a very important prt to the table, tech. Most probably would be able to boost her social media status, his management of Gaga, though highly flawed will most likely serve as inspiration for many to come.

I mean, if you're looking solely at the commercial side of things, then Troy appears to be a no-brainer (I may be wrong, I know nothing about the specifics of it, but I'm judging from surface levels), but I'd say Bobby is the better over all manager, purely because I think a manager should be more than just someone looking for commercial success, and I'm liking where Gaga's at right now far more so then where she was at the end of her time with Troy.

Well, at the end of the day it all depends on it how far Gaga wants to push herself and her music. If she wants to take it easy, then there is nothing Bobby can do.

I don't really think its fair to blame Bobby for any perceived promotional shortcomings. I think it's clear Lady Gaga is doing as much promo as she wants, her manager cannot and should not change that. He is respecting her limits, which it doesn't seem Troy ever did...
