She has good songs, but her promo and the energy she puts behind it is just, i don't know, let say it not to her full potential. MR is an amazing song, but if you don't sing it live on tv, nobody is gonna care for it.

It's her life, her album, she can do/promote how show wants.

At this rate no. It had a better chance before A-Yo was promo'd to death only to be subbed at the very last second.

I honestly think that it's such a different song from what people are used to from her. that's not really a bad thing but when you're trying to build up a presence on radio after a long absence and your lead single was for all intensive purposes a huge disappointment- it's not really a time to start putting everyone to sleep. Plus the election happened and people are literally depressed and drained (Im not attacking a candidate, I'm just saying a lot of this has been emotionally taxing). This kind of song doesn't respond well to an audience. Timing is just bad. But when has Gaga EVER had great timing?

Chris Evans

probably not

PI was single potential but now that streaming is a factor and her numbers aren't high enough the label drops the single after a few weeks even though some hits even by big artists right now take months to make it

Boston's #1 radio station put it on their request list, and they are raving about last night's performance. So they'll probably play it, and they're an iHeartRadio station. So I do think it has the potential to be a hit.

Nah, maybe it's not catchy enough or resonating with people, I don't know. It is what it is, I'm just here for the video.

Does it have potential to be a hit? Absolutely.

Will it become a hit? That's up to Gaga and the GP I suppose.

I mean, the fact that it shot to #1 with just the Carpool Karaoke promo—I know, there were others, but CP's what made it get to #1—is pretty spectacular.

The song itself is good, I love it, and honestly, at first I wasn't into it, but after last night's performance, I think it finally clicked for me.

If she continues to promote it and perform it, I don't see why it wouldn't be a big hit. It's a relatable song, and during this time of year, because it's a ballad, it's nice.

This.

I think it has potential to be a sleeper hit. Side to side took months to finally catch on, as do many of other songs. PI had a chance to chart higher, but it was given up on. I think million reasons can rise of they keep up on it. (And interscope's believes in the songs radio power.)

If it doesn't get radio play, well no. It's achieved so much so the radio reluctance to add and play the song is troubling. Unless we see bigger radio numbers, I'll say no.
