Trump Campaign Wanted to buy emoji to attack Hilary Clinton

Gary Coby, the Trump Campaign’s Director of Digital Advertising and Fundraising, outlined in his post that the campaign signed a $5 million spending commitment in August following the Republican National Convention. 

Coby explained that the campaign planned to launch specific emoji attached to the hashtag #CrookedHillary — a hand holding a bag of money, and later to a figure of a person running with a bag of money. In the days before the first debate, Coby learned that the promoted hashtag was not approved. 

“WE ULTIMATELY DECIDED NOT TO PERMIT THIS PARTICULAR FORMAT FOR ANY POLITICAL ADVERTISING”

An official for Twitter wouldn’t comment on the specifics of the conversations that it held, but it did release the following statement:

“We have had specific discussions with several political organizations, including the Trump campaign, regarding branded emojis as part of broad advertising campaigns on Twitter. We believe that political advertising merits a level of disclosure and transparency that branded political emojis do not meet, and we ultimately decided not to permit this particular format for any political advertising.”

But she wouldn't. Stop trying to downplay and diminish the garbage that is Donald Trump by putting him in the same group as her. She is a politician, lawyer, and important figure in American history while he is literally reality TV trash who had to resort to scare tactics, gross hyperbolization, and petty  Twitter wars just to get the attention of the dumbest of dumb in the American public in order to win the election. I am sick of reading this kind of "lesser of two evils BS" that so many moderates and butt hurt democrats keep spouting that ended up polarizing the political party. Trump was exponentially worse, is worse, and will always be the worst. Go talk about double standards to some of the more prominent self hating little Trumpettes on this very forum rather than pandering to the gross idiotic view so many people seem to perpetuate.

girl, It is what it is, & this "emoji-idea" is ****ed up & I would have viewed it that way from whoever would have done it.

I still hope for some miracle that Hillary SOMEHOW becomes the next president and Trump and his team just disapear but I guess I'll just have to wait ~4 years til I can go to the USA for a holiday trip -.-'

How are they idiots ? Havent u seen the mockery when she said "pokemon go to the polls" and the dabbing etc....it wouldve been just as cringeworthy if she did buy an emoji...but she didnt though so lets focus on your candidate's (I'm assuming ) campaign trying to do this

Hillary Clinton is not an angel and you are either in denial or simply don't know of the unjust, heinous crimes she's committed. just because she's important to history doesn't mean it's the right side of history. neither of them are fit to run the country, and that's my opinion.
