Don't see what everyone is freaking out over. It seems like a standard Britney video, on Make Me's level at least. It reminds me a bit of Boys but that wasn't exactly God's gift to music videos either. There's no story, just Britney dancing and rolling about in a house. It's very 90's but that alone doesn't make it good just because it's a nostalgic style.

Sis we live in 2016. not in 1716. who thinks this way? Women are respected and equal. Except those women in The Middle East. Just because she showed some skin it doesn't mean that she is or will be less respected. :air:

As you can see Britney is not one of these women. She is enjoying herself and embracing her sex appeal.

Like I said we live in 2016. Women can dress and do whatever they want. If that's not freedom and sign of power then I don't know what it is.

Modern "feminism" created this mess where "feminists" are ~triggered~ by every little thing and they are actually fighting against women who enjoy being dependent on men. They want them to live by their rules.

Modern "feminist" support being obese, lazy, untidy, not using tampons or pads...

Does that shows strenght?

Tell me why no one is bringing this up when men are sexual objects?

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I just have to respond to this.

It's sad how so many people still genuinely believe that all women in the Western world are respected and equal now. We get disrespected in so many ways everyday and in ways that gets unchecked, in ways that isn't even considered by many to be sexist because it's so normalised. Disrespect is about a lot more than denying us the big rights. It's about so much more than that.

Do you really think Britney is in control of her image? She's tightly controlled and she hardly comes up with anything by herself, especially these days. Certainly things like her outfits and how she acts in videos is decided by directors and producers. How can you possibly think that everything she puts out there is all her? Are you even aware of how female artists are forced into being more sexual than they want to be?

Again, freedom is about a lot more than being allowed to be wear what we want and do what we want. It's about not being judged by those decisions, not being held to double standards, not being fed mixed messages about which decision we should take, being judged for going for the 'wrong' decision, etc. Our 'freedoms' come with a lot of baggage to the point where it doesn't feel like freedom at all. It took me until I was about 16 for me to realise that so much of how I thought I should dress and what I considered sexy was all put into my head by men with their own interests to fulfill. I thought I was making my own decisions with my own mind but a lot of that was placed there for me without me even realising it.

We have a lot to be "triggered" by. You obviously don't realise that when you're not one of us. We're not necessarily fighting against women who enjoy being dependent on men, we're fighting against those who are too dependent to the point where they'd be screwed if that man ever left them. This is coming from a woman who has always been turned on by submission. It's fine to a point and I think it's very important that we aren't submissive in public and that you have to show a man intelligence and strength in private too or he'll walk all over you. Part of the reason why I ultimately couldn't fully go through with the idea of pursuing a dom is because I fear I could genuinely be seen as inferior by him and treated badly one day and he'll validate it because it's what I signed up for.

Modern feminism doesn't support those things you said. Stop being silly and grow up. You are talking utter nonsense. Those are what nutty SJW feminists believe and I'm certainly not one of them. And where on earth did you get the perception that we don't want to wear tampons or pads? If you're referring to women protesting against the tampon tax by not wearing them or underwear underneath blood-soaked leggings, you've missed the entire point of what they were fighting for. They were saying that they need these products regardless of how much money they have, so as they are an essential item, they shouldn't be taxed. Showing a physical representation of how much we need them to get the message through.

And no one is bringing up men being sexual objects because men are not sex objects in the same way that women are. Men always have strength when they are sexualised and a lot of time, women do not. Besides, because of a man's anatomy, he always has the ultimate power anyway and it's hard to be truly submissive when you're packing something that could cause so much damage. Plus, Men being sexualised is the exception, not the rule. Women are truly debased when they're sexualised, men are allowed to maintain strength and masculine dignity. Very different.

I freaking love you! Thank you so much for having the patience to put him right in his place. I wanted to tell him what was wrong with how he was thinking but I was like never mind but you actually did and slayed! So thank you so much! Keep on fighting for women like you're doing! You're wonderful! :applause:

So, why did the Slumber Party remix replace the original on Apple Music? The original is nowhere to be found now. I don't stream anyway, personally, but that seems wrong to me. No offense to Tinashe, but she didn't add anything to the song.
