Why are Gaga's injections treated as such a sensitive topic in this fanbase

I know it's her face. I know she can do whatever she wants with it. But I feel like she has taken it into an unhealthy level. I feel sad whenever I see her old pictures, her natural features are f*cking beautiful I don't know why she feels the need to inject all this junk into her face at such a young age. This is what she herself said regarding this topic back in 2011 

"I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification."
 

Maybe I am wrong for making this thread, maybe I should stop feeling concerned about how she looks but the only reason I'm feeling this way is because I genuinely love her, not because I want to pressure her into looking good or something, but I'm afraid all these injections won't take a good turn at the end.

OT: She is definitly addicted to fillers again, like she was in 2013. But people on here support everything Gaga does - like injecting her face, smoking (weed), drinking - so it's not that surprising. What is surprising however is that they hate her for speaking out on things that do matter to her (like the Elections).

I think that at first they look quite strange as we are not used to seeing her face like that but the swelling goes down and she looks normal again, just with more defined cheeks. 

I think her cheekbones look good though but I do miss her normal face. 

But we know Gaga is a chameleon and perhaps this is just for this era? She literally looks different each time an album comes out.

I don't know why but I feel like she wants to look like a man this era. Maybe impersonating Papa Joe? But her cheekbones and Joanne attitude is very masculine. It's strange.

Her face looks virtually no different other than she's legit aged 💀 She looks virtually no different to that new pic that surfaced of her a Natalie when she was a teenager her face is just thinner now because of her putting on weight and having to rapidly lose it to get in shape for her eras and tours

Exactly 

It sucks how people were dragging her a few days ago for speaking out on elections but I had to consider the chance of myself getting attacked for making this thread. 

Also, I love fillers on her back in 2013. But now, I feel like she has take it to an unhealthy level it doesn't even look good anymore

I kind of got that vibe when she did the Frank Sinatra performance last year too  but apart from then the only time she gives me an androgynous vibe is when she wears those track suits.

I think it really is because it goes against so many Gaga statements over the years. This is not artistic expression, it's LA celebrity habit. I still don't get how Gaga came to be friends with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

I completely agree with OP. I mean she's free to do whatever makes her happy, and as long as she's comfortable with herself I'm happy for her. 

BUT

I miss her old face and her old nose. Sometimes she goes too far with injections and I'm stil not over how unrecognizable she was at the Golden Globes earlier this year. Come for me if you want but this is my opinion. I just lover her old/natural face.

It's one of those topics that can't really go anywhere.

I personally don't see the point in her doing it. I actually think it's made her look weird quite a few times but whatever, her body her choice.
