the nature of politics no matter where you go imo

In a sense, but here there's no weighting of comments, so you have to sift your way past 50 pages to get to some sense :rip:

supporting the people of Palestine does not equal supporting the murder of the people of Israel. So yes that is islamophobic...

You were JUST while ago arguing how Keffiyeh is not just Palestinian, how Israelis can wear it too/they adopted it/it's just fashion etc. Look at you now.

Where is this diversity of opinion you speak of  promoting?

See that's why I hate these protests, they're not going to unite anyone but themselves

I get the motivations behind protesting  but I really believe it's not worthy

I felt that way too, but a friend of mine is currently abroad and she's said the countries she's visited have been watching us in the news and seeing all the protests helps them realize that even though Trump won the election, many of us are unhappy about it.

So while it's not necessarily uniting anyone who isn't in agreement anyways or changing what happened, it's showing the world that Trump may be the face of America, but America is not Trump.

This is why I hate discussions of politics on GGD. :rip:

Everyone comments whether they understand the situation or not, others attack the OP for posting something, then it devolves into speculation and name calling. It's the same every damn time.

This community as a whole just isn't mature enough to talk about serious topics.

I'm not sure it gets much better with those who are "more mature".  Lol

You are right, though, that many here have a very rudimentary understanding of politics in general. Some here from other countries are interested in learning, though, so there is that. :)

That guy the protestor is attacking seems to support terrorism and violence himself, just for you all information

Unf*ckingbelievable.

You support terrorism and violence. Just for everyone's information.

If you feel like calling it an  attack then I guess it won't make a difference to me :awkney:

You said left leaning groups promote diversity of opinion, and I don't agree with that.

Just look at what Gaga herself says: "freedom of speech is overrated" "ban hate speech" etc

To keep the thread from the off-topic:

Are there any motives of the "attack" or was it just an accident due to this guys illness?
