6 years ago: Burlesque premiere; Xtina getting her star on the Walk of Fame

6 years ago today, on November 15 2010, Christina Aguilera got her star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame  On the same day was the premiere of the movie Burlesque, starring Xtina as Ali and Cher as Tess 

Shall we talk about how great that movie is?  And how the soundtrack is flawless?

That movie slays my existence and still is one of my favourite movies of all time. Burlesque the song ahh it brings soo much memories my brother and I used to preform it on the balcony and see who could hit that huge climax note and I obvisouly did at some point after he did

The songs were good but the movie was a poor rip off of Cabaret, they even copy scene by scene some parts.

Between the filming of Burlesque and the release, she was dragged through the mud during the Bionic Promo campaign and she and her husband separated. She quickly gained weight, very likely due to stress. People were so unfairly harsh to her around this time. I'm shocked people still make fun of her.

 

Fun fact: Christina and her current fiancee Matt met during the filming of Burlesque, and the reason her and her ex-husband split was because they had an affair (dont @ me about this being wrong, she confirmed this in a W magazine interview)

I think im the only one who find this movie extremely mediocre, i mean, thats not even proper burlesque...
