sipthistea 21,099
It's a brilliant album. I'm not disappointed at all. I would be disappointed if she had delivered a mediocre album designed for the charts.
LePetitGAGABLover 21,234
The most frustrating part is that she CONTINUES to do radio promo. As current charts show, her sells keep declining. So these radio promos are not working, but she continues to do them. Like, do tvperformances or something else
DeanWinchester 41,390
With this attitude from her FANS, it's no wonder the GP ain't buying/supporting her music Flyin' like a 1000 Doves
Fame IV 4,426
I think Lady Gaga is very relaxed and at a very good place mentally now. She has a huge power, she is an established superstar and can perfecly slow down the rhythm of work. The album is amazing, as always she delievered with her heart, which she pours her heart out. The album was number one worlwide and in US. She is performing at the SUPERBOWL (I mean, the freaking SUPERBOWL) and at the AMAs. So...about that question? Yes A Star is Born ⭐
Babel 41,490
I'll be coming back into this thread with full joy after the Superbowl happens.
Pacify Him 9,073
Nope. Because she is obviously on her way to start ARTPOP Act II pretty soon Sure, changing genres may be fun for a while but she probably got bored of it and went back to making pop music again Waiting for a John Wayne music video next tho I’m getting on your nerves
Dominic 11,922
Kinda but it doesn't even feel like we're in an 'era'. It was all a bit anticlimactic. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

suchheights8 297
This community is awful and I think it is time to leave. How diluted are all of you, basing her success based of a few charts and GP opinion. The election just happened, no musical artist was focusing on their music - we as a society has far bigger things to worry about that. How about we celebrate the fact that Gaga is a standing up and being the voice for so many people who can't. But no, this community decides to focus on the fact that she isn't promoting her music or getting #1's. Everyone who thinks this era is a mess needs to look real hard in the mirror if you are a real gaga fan. She made this album for her to celebrate her artistry and to show people she isn't only a performance artist she is a true musical artist. That is something to be celebrated and that right there defines success in this era - she is happy and doing what she wants. First off, she is promoting and making the effort to get this album out there. She was a work horse for almost 8 years and now she wants to just be a musical artist - as she said in her harpers article "What matters is that I have a great family, I work hard, I take care of those around me, I provide jobs for people I love very much, and I make music that I hope sends a good message into the world". Just enjoy her, her music and what she offers to this world as whole. I personally believe this is a new beginning and we will get "CrazyGa" in the next album, but at the end I don't care. I love her for who she is, what she promotes and how she makes ME feel with the music, not the world around me. So please, stop whining and let her enjoy this era and not have her "fans" beat her down. Guess what, you are the only ones beating her down this era. Some bad reviews....so what....that is every.single.artist. Move on. At the end of the day she has AMA, VSFS and Superbowl. What more do you want from this woman....end rant. GagaTheExplorer 3,053
Hope about what? Success? No, acclaim? No, hits? No. But anyway this era is not over yet

You're mad at fans who want to see Gaga do good on the charts and see her perform on TV? Why? We have the right to be miffed, we waited 3 years for this album and it's all grounded to a hault and become very anti climatic. You say Gaga is doing promo and getting her album out there, where? Cause all I see is Twitter updates about the election.

thatfoxyfeeling 13,017
Well put it this way I'm not looking forward to The Joanne Ball. I was so excited for BTWB and ArtRAVE but this era has been lackluster.

The era is not the same as The Fame, etc. I don't think it was ever intended to be. I think this era will meet the goals Gaga set for it. Savage 1,783
Yes. It still is much more organized than the ARTPOP era. She's doing the Super Bowl. Ticket prices for the tour are going to be high because of it. MR is about to smash radios. She's performing Sunday on the AMAs. You saw what SNL did for her. Imagine what a lagerly televised event such as the American Music Awards will do. Also, look at the EMAs. Two awards, tied for second biggest winner of the night. I don't remember taking anything home during the ARTPOP era ... I guarantee the tour for Joanne will be higher budget than the artRAVE.
