A ball was when the gays/'weird' people of nyc came together to dance/vogue/do little competitions/idk what

at one moment in the documentary Pepper Labeija (idk his name anymore) says: at a ball you can be whoever u want to be without apologizing for it.

 

Isnt that exactly what Gaga is all about? All the 'gays/weird' peeps come together dressed the way they want to be dressed.

Just something. I remember back around TF or TFM when she said "I don't like to just called tour the [Album Name] Tour" which was followed by the Born This Way Ball lol

She contradicts herself all the time, not surprised.

"Joanne Ball" sounds awkward though. She could've at least called it The Diamond Heart Ball Tour or something like that, but I guess it has to have the album name, even Joanne World Tour sounds better.
