Through her music, from albums such as Born This Way, she has politically voiced her support for the LBTG+++ community through songs such as You and I and Bloody Mary and has recently tanked her career supporting Hilary, according to the gays off a site called LadyGaGaDaily.com with songs such as Cum to Mama and Mirror on the Ceiling.

Lady Gaga has highly recognizable songs and thoroughout her career she has proved herself to become a very versatile artist that is praised by the legends preceding her—and she is off to become one herself proven by her accolades and impact her “performance art" has given to other artists. She's a highly polarizing artist, her impact towards pop music as we know it today is undeniable; thus cementing herself as a pop icon.
