I feel like someone here needs to come to Trump's defence: he did not in any way force these people to commit suicide (if this is real). The fact is that it was an impulse decision that should not have been made. It's very unfortunate that people feel this way, but this is how democracy works. You win some, you lose some and you still go on. Because you have to.

If your impulse here is to defend Tump, you have a callous heart. No one said he forced anyone to commit suicide. That is stupid and literal. It is about facing the very real implications of his aggressive rhetoric and conservative platform on this country. If you threaten people's basic human rights, you are attacking them psychologically.

EXACTLY... people need to stop believeing everything they read. Trump is more focused on the financial side of things. I'm pretty sure he even said that he disagrees with revoking

I can't say if Trump would or would not revoke because he hasn't  do anything yet in the LGBT issue, but the only tech entrepreneur support him all the time is Paypal co-founder Peter Thiel who is famous gay right activist and he has a close relationship with Trump.

And you are right, the major issue Trump focus are illegal immigrant and financial. This are same reasons that cause Brexit, the fear of illegal immigrant and the working class people want to change their poor situation(financial). It gets nothing to do with LGBT, not in UK.

If Trump did any stupid things that hurt us then we fight just like so many people did in the past few years to win their glory and right but the point is nothing happen yet, why freaking out like this is the end of world.

Be strong, America.

HONOUR AND APPRECIATE YOUR LIFE.
It's hard time, but people should really try to not get influenced by media and get divided MORE. There are STILL people who care about people and all the important issues and one bigoted person can't change something  that so many people believe in. Stick together, love who you are and even the worst shall pass.

I really hate the main stream media now, they are all tie up with Hillary and keep spread this kind of fear to gay people without second  thinking. If someone need to be responsible  for  those innocence life, they are the first one to blame then is Trump.

Trump has stated that he will appoint the most conservative judges, ones that will overturn Roe vs. Wade and gay marriage.

He had also promised to sign the Anti-LGBT Religious Freedom Act, that will allow all kinds of discrimination based on simply the sexual orientation of an individual. This will go to the courts, and will end up at the Supreme Court level, which will now be conservative. In fact Trump will probably get to elect at least three Supreme Court justices, a third of the court, and they will be extremely conservative appointments.

The US will go backwards on the rights of all minorities, at least for a few decades. That's the reality of this "it's just four years" "for shits and giggles" "but I don't liiiike her" election. The conservatives and Republicans understood this and made sure they got a win, even if some of them had to hold their nose while doing it.

As awful as suicide is, that is absolute bullshit that they use that against Donald Trump, as if he told them to commit suicide/endorsed it. They made the choice to end their own lives. It's sad but as I said, it's not like Trump had control over it, plus, if you really think it's acceptable or logical to commit suicide due to the fact the candidate they didn't like won president, that's despicable. No, I am not questioning somebody's reason for wanting to take their own life nor trying to judge, I just mean that 1. that cannot be and should not be held against him considering he truly had no part in it from the big picture and also 2. it was most likely the bullshit that is being fed to people on twitter, facebook, and tumblr that caused them to possibly go as far as committing suicide.

This country has some serious f*cking issues with letting social media hysterics/tactics scare the living **** out of youth as well as adults and push them to the point where they will do something as tragic as committing suicide. My God. PEOPLE NEED TO STOP MAKING EVERYTHING ABOUT FEELINGS. He won the election. Get over it.

He's not going to revoke that stuff.

He literally says he will? In his first day in office too. Educate yourself please. He plans on revoking all of Obama's executive orders. One of Obama's executive orders made it so schools had to allow transgender students to use the bathroom that they identify with.

I didn't read this in any mainstream media?? I read this in Trumps plan's for his presidency. Try again.

Are you kidding me. This ridiculous. Trump hasnt even done anything yet. The way to make change is to not commit suicide. These people are weak and I have no sympathy for them at all.

Bring on the comments that I am disgusting and vile and what not. But if people are killing themselves over this.......... i have no words to explain this ridiculousness. Also he Trump just said he will protect LGBT rights today.

Either way, he cannot just revoke it and that's that. It has to go through a whole bunch of people. And actually, he said that he believed it should be up to the states whether they legalize gay marriage or not. So he's basically saying that's not his problem it's the states. I'm not saying I like Trump, I really don't like either one of them.

He can quite literally revoke it, his first day in office too. It's not a bill. It's an executive order. Once again, you don't know what you're talking about. Gay marriage he probably will not be able to touch, realistically. He will be able to pass the religion discrimination law on a federal level, since congress is a republican majority. Don't underestimate his power.
