No. but Gaga didnt just give an opinion or say who she was rooting for...

She was quite agressive in her comments against Trump

Half of America supports Trump. Those people wont be too happy with Gaga

Even if they are mature not to hate her, they may still be less inclined to say for example support her new single

some radio stations may even be cautious with Gaga content for a while

How much damage was done by this is up for debate. But it definitely didnt help 😓

Well, actually less than twenty per cent voted for him and many of those were holding their nose and voting Republican. Gaga didn't have many fans from this voting block anyhow, unless it was ones that were voting for reasons outside social issues such as equal rights.

If radio banned artists who supported Clinton, the last woukd be too long for them to keep up with. Pop radio's main market is women 18-35 years old. The large majority in that category weren't for Trump.

Pop radio in my area has been pretty vocal over their distaste of Trump, and I live in a blood red state.

Don't worry, there won't be any damage in the pop or entertainment world. Those worlds are made up of vocal liberals.

No. Most young people feel the same as Gaga. Gaga has a strong career.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

So? He's going up for being president and if someone's against it then they're free to say so and why. I don't think 34 million people care so much about being super protective of Trump and his feelings that they'd actively go against Lady Gaga and everything she's done and everything she's going to do

:golfclap:

The spirit cooking and "Nazi uniform" stuff has pretty much been forgotten already. No one has Gaga on their minds right now.

I hope this doesn't turn out like the Dixie Chicks :(

You very much could have a point here

I wouldn't worry about Dixie Chicks level of backlash. That was closer to 9/11/01, at that time it was a lot more taboo to speak about the president.

Plus the Dixie Chicks are a country act, and country music has a lot more republican listeners. I'm sure many of the Dixie Chicks own fans were Bush supporters. I can't imagine Gaga has many Trump supporting listeners. (Even if some people on here seem to think Joanne is a country album lol).

What Gaga is doing now doesnt even seem that controversial in my opinion. She's using her platform to stand up for the beliefs she's always stood up for.

You can't be a gaga fan and support Trump, it's literally the opposite... I can't imagine any Trump supporters singing Born This Way... So no, she still has the same fans (open-mided people that fight for equality)

Yes you can mt friend supported Trump and is a Gaga fan
