XoXoJoanneGaga 629
No, if she was still one of the biggest pop stars it would matter more but her career now is mostly based around her fanbase and the weight her name carries in the entertainment industry, which is why she's able to book acting gigs and performances such as the Super Bowl. Someone like Taylor Swift who's still getting #1 hits and selling millions of albums would have to worry more about alienating the wider American audience, which is why she didn't who she was voting for. Not gonna happen, stop suggesting this. Did any of the people who campaigned for Al Gore find themselves in such a situation? Plus Gaga never tried to obfuscate that she was a liberal. TerrenceV2 2,001
Those republican most probably didn't even like Gaga in the first place. And if you devote yourself to please every single person then you're a sucker. Gaga has character, which is something admirable. playground love - josef salvat

The difference is that the Dixie Chicks' fans were mostly rednecks and Republicans. That's country music for you. Gaga's fans are mostly gays and women.
