Yes, the article is presenting it in a different context; a false one. The data is quite simple, the issues are ranked based on which ones voters felt were most important to least important. There's three things to point out here:

1) The issues that were ranked as being more important do predominantly have a major effect on minorities (economy, health care, social security, education) as well as non-minorities.

2) The phrasing is very vague. Again, what does "the treatment of minorities" mean? If I was being polled here I wouldn't even know what to make of that as it's so vague, I would put it last by default since the rest of the options are clear and important issues. If it's supposed to mean ending racism and discrimination, how in the world is the president supposed to accomplish that? It's not an issue rooted in demonstrable policy the way the other options are.

3) Ranking "the treatment of minorities" as less important than things such as economy and health care doesn't mean that you don't care about it, and it certainly doesn't make you a racist. To think otherwise is really juvenile. Again, using your logic and looking at the percentage of voters who ranked the treatment of gay people as important, you would have to come to the conclusion that half of Hillary's supporters are homophobes.

I can see you're still putting an incredible amount of energy into not reading the article and I'm just at a loss for how to respond to this lunacy.

Lol nice cop out. First you wrongly accused me of using the wrong data, then you said the data is clearly racist, and I explained how it isn't. The fact that I did read the article is the entire issue here as I immediately recognized how they were twisting the data, and how it was full of the same kind of conjecture used in all arguments that try to shame people into voting for Clinton and generalize tens of millions of people. If you want to keep on believing that anyone, or even half of the people, who don't vote for Clinton are racist/sexist/etc. be my guest, it's no skin off my back.

Okay there, friend. Maybe get some sleep and try this again tomorrow. Maybe you clicked the wrong link. Or maybe you just have hard time understanding that racism is a pretty broad and systemic issue and that we need different sets of data to explore these underlying views of minorities.

So you're going to vote for the guy with the running mate that advocates for conversion therapy?

For the guy who:

wants to jail his opponent without due process

wants to be friends with Russia (and thinks they actually care about getting rid of ISIS)

divides people based on race, gender and wealth

evades taxes

makes demeaning comments towards women and uses his power as excuse for his sexual harassment and assault

actively tries to degrade the foundation of free press

freely admits he will not accept the election results if he does not win.

This man has all of the qualities of a dictator and he's ~this~ close to leading the most powerful country in the world. A country that prides itself on spreading democracy to other countries. Which is why it's so frustrating for us outsiders to watch this hypocrisy. You'll be single-handedly challenging the foundations of democracy around the world if you let this man win.

I can't tell you enough that Hillary's personal agenda, her emails, and her history with Bill Clinton and the DNC have absolutely nothing on the terror Donald Trump will bring.

Wake the **** up.

The TRUTH SISTAAH YesssssSSS!! :golfclap:

I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half

I refuse to believe that some of you assume she's THAT stupid and incautious...

JackTheTripper

Considering she is so vocal and politially involved, I wonder if she will ever say something about NATO agression, and all the recent deaths, and bombarding in Yemen, Iraq and Lybia done by her own country..... Nah, who cares about that, Trump talking about pu**y  is way more important and PC approved

Why does Cynthia follow him on Twitter and Gaga follow Melania tho ??? :oprah:

To keep track of the content they're both putting out to the world amidst this ridiculous campaign of his. Twitter isn't such a social application - it's the quickest way to keep up to date with politics/news. Please don't tell me you equate a Twitter follow to mean automatic support.
