It's kind of pointless to claim every song is a copy, because otherwise how would musicians work. They need to get inspiration from somewhere. As for correlation it doesn't seem like there is any. Courage My Love is a Canadian band under a completely different label, so I highly doubt somehow a demo version of Sober was passed along. Even then, this is why artists should either collaborate with other artists or try to create original material, so this scenario doesn't happen.
