I'm not trying to start a GGD debate but I fail to recognize how using inflammatory and hurtful language (against women and the queer community) is smart (even if he is making money or trolling people). Coming from a social science and gender studies background, everything Milo stands for is in opposition to the recent canon of social-scientific research/theory. And in the most recent post, I agree that both candidates haven't shown an authentic record of love and support for LGBTQ+ identities and communities (this is one of many reasons I have, instead, supported Bernie and Jill this election cycle). This is a ploy for positive press and liberal white votes. Nothing more. The GOP will still revoke marriage equality, bar healthcare and rights from Trans people, legalize forced conversion therapy on minors, and much more. Don't fall for it. But I think Trump is neither substantially homophobic nor a gay rights supporter. I think he simply does not care hence why he would not have an issue embracing support from lgbts.
