It's Mare Winningham actually. And yes, she's more than twice as scary as Kathy Bates' portrayal.

Are you sure?

She looks just like the butcher in last nights episode.

This episode was so intense... :emma:

The real Mott ghost omg... That part was really scaring me, especially because my mom started to see lights outside and can you guess how I felt in that moment :awkney:

I also totally missed Finn. Where was Finn. Why is he such a good actor that he literally vanishes in his roles :laughga:

You are right, my friend. Credits confirm the real butcher is played by Berger. Sorry for creating confusion by quoting some false source. :)

So my original source was correct? Good to know. (It certainly didn't look like Mare Winningham, but one never knows with all the makeup and stuff that goes on.)

Yeah, sorry. :D All the real life ghosts seem to be newcomers on the show, I believe.

Definitely would make sense that way.

Why where they scared of Real Mott? Didn't he help them escape before? Now Lee suddently shots him.

Kindness rules all.

I think he was always more terrifying in real life than the reenactment portrayed him to be. I imagine their real escape from the house being less of a friendly discussion with a man in a powdered wig, and more like a scary ass demon twitching and stumbling, leading them out with no conversation going on, just the occasional demon-scream and point in the right direction. Seeing the real ghosts changed my ideas about what their experience was really like! The reenactment was candy floss in comparison to what we saw!

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

This is hands down the 2nd best season of AHS. I haven't been so slayed since Asylum. Kathy's accent is so captivating. I keep replaying her parts from past episodes. Still laugh with the way she says blood.

She's saying it the way it would have been said 400-500 years ago, in a way which correlates better with the English spelling (as /blo:d/, not /bləd/).
