Because usually, in the 33% stores that haven't been counted yet, there are big retailers that make up for more units. So it could (probably) be that there's a bigger jump in units when they count the rest. Know what I mean? Yea the other poster above also expounded on it. Basically a matter of counting how many retailers arent counted vs how much those uncounted retailers sold compared to those already counted. So my theory is correct (see the post on the previous page). Uhm that's weird! Beyoncé's album was only and exclusively on iTunes? Not on Tidal/Apple Music/another streaming service or selling platform that could gave the information later than iTunes? Also maybe the % of HDD is referencing both things: distributors information & a percentage of sales. (maybe digital distributors can't gave 100% refreshed information until a day ends, for example)

KingOfSpain 10,010
I know just 67% of the distributors have reported their numbers but lmao we were afraid she wouldn't get her fourth #1 and she's already 70,000 points ahead of Kings of Lion and Michael Bublé (who are tied) and 80,000 of Pentatonix. (maybe digital distributors can't gave 100% refreshed information until a day ends, for example) I'm talking about the Album Sales chart only. Yes, BEYONCE was an iTunes exclusive. And the thing is, iTunes was reporting numbers throughout the week and although we already knew it sold a certain amount the 1st day and later the amount after the first 3 days, HDD still reported a different % every other day. But since BEYONCE was an unordinary release, who knows. Maybe your theory is still correct but they did an exception for BEYONCE.
S0436 10,215
Wednesday and Thursday could see a boost from CK HDD is only an indication, it's never the exact figure from Billboard. We have to wait for the weekend for the official Billboard report
SomethingMore 1,701
It seems they really narrowed down the prediction meaning they are quite confident it will sell that amount. However, the effect of the Carpool Karaoke is always unpredictable but in most cases almost everyone gets a big boost. I remember being disappointed with Nick Jonas & Demi Lovato's boost, but Gaga is an A-lister so it'll be different.

TropicOfCANCER 6,292
I believe the percentage is not the total sales of the album itself, but the total sales from people that have reported them. It doesn't really make sense that they're reporting sales this early, does it?
