Metacritic is a joke. There are absolute masterpieces (just random examples, Untrue by Burial, Funeral by Arcade Fire, St. Vincent's self titled) that got a lower score than Lemonade. Lemonade is a good album but it's been slightly overrated, let's be honest here. She can walk home with every kind of award she wants (or must I say buys?) and I liked most of her work throughout the years, but nothing's gonna change my mind on its quality. I don't mean to be hateful or offend anyone, I just hate to see it elevated to a God level when it's just average in my personal opinion. I wish her good luck with that AOTY against 21.
