To be fair after Cheek 2 Cheek and all her live performances - not just in 2015-16 but since her debut, if the GP still isn't aware of what she is capable of then they are all deaf! But i agree that for such a personal album like Joanne, perhaps a more subtle tune like MR might be more suitable. I'd also like to see her give Diamond Heart a go as i think it would translate great as a music video. In any case we have no real idea as to what Gaga is thinking at the moment, and she has proven many doubters wrong this time. She created these songs and probably put more thought into them than previous albums. I am sure whatever she decided to release next would be fine. Even Perfect Illusion didn't cripple the album's chances as many of us feared. In fact it probably was a pretty good attention grabber.
