What really bothers me is that a lot of people have said for years that her costumes were boring and expected, her music was starting to sound like a bad, uninspired version of TFM or something. When she finally evolves and shows an honest, stripped down version of her artistry, a lot of people (and critics too) are not happy with that. It's like, she can't win, we should stop even caring about this whole mess and just enojy the music.

I feel that this time she won't feel so low or put aside. She really bonded with Mark, Bloodpop and the crew and they really stand by the music. They know they are in the right side of the story.

This is honestly kinda upsetting to read. After all the Gaga buzz from 2015 I kinda let my guard down about how brutal and fake the media can be. All they want is the clicks, and unfortunately terrible reviews and stars' (fabricated) "downfalls" attract that.

Take my hand. Stay, Joanne.

We need to stop giving them the clicks tbh. :nails:

No wonder poor thing felt an urge to quit music altogether until Tony pulled her back.

No matter what she does, she won't be appreciated, at least not in her lifetime. (Hopefully yes but...)

But she doesn't care anymore. It's just us who does :emma:

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

But it's not a quote, it's a comment from metacritic...or I'm wrong?

Oh I was thinking it was from the NYT review - I think that guy said something similar. Either way grrrrrrrr

Its bad initial pr, I agree. But Im sure there will be plenty more reviews later...

(Though this weird conspiracy theory about everyone against gaga is a bit silly guys.... Everybody else gets hate etc, some way more than gaga. They just don't like "current Gaga" as an artist for whatever reason. It happens.)

If you are happy with The album/era, thats what matters.

I pray she stops at that... If she keeps doing that, it will get only worse for her... (No matter how unfair it may seem)
