Gaga has the right - and I would say responsibility - to expose bullshit critics who, for some reason, have influential platforms. 

You're right. It really shouldn't be like this. A respected platform like NYT should be more careful about making sure critics like this one don't get to just say some bs, and if someone has to call them out, it makes sense for it to be someone who's work is getting **** on by them.

I just don't like Gaga acting as if her inspiration for Angel Down was so obvious. The song can apply to too many incidents. She really has every right to defend herself tho. I agree.

I could see if they actually discussed the album in tha review but they didn't. The article was legit slander and we are passed that phase. Listen to the damn album you're supposed to be reviewing. I can see why people might not like it, but the review was biased towards her as a person and I don't blame her for defending herself.

It's not parthetic, it's just that she believes in what she does, and dragging an album cuz you think there's no inspiration behind the songs or no connection between them clearly shows you do not like Lady Gaga because this is a deeply inspired record. Know your limits, and if you can't write a disinterested review from a neutral point of view, well just don't write it. But don't day things that aren't true. You can shade the production, the vocals etc but not the meaning of the songs of this record - they are meaningful.

I adore Joanne, it is without a doubt my favorite Gaga album to date. I have been praising her new music non-stop since the 30 secound clips were released. While I'm flattered that you keep such a close eye on my posts, saying all I do is bash her is totally inaccurate. You just happen to notice negative comments I make because they stand out in a stan's screaming "yasss."

Evoking Trayvon Martin's name in a clap back to a negative review is supremely tacky in my opinion, that isn't bashing her.

It wasn't, the reviewer talks plenty about the album and goes into plenty of detail as to why he did not like it, and he has favorable things to say about Gaga throughout. But feel free to jump into a circle-jerk of idiocy instead of actually reading it with an ounce of comprehension, I know that's a lot easier.
