Snorlax 6,131
But Gaga is technically only an actress playing Scathach, so I think it would be redundant to have return playing the actual Scathach in a later season.
Alphaz 7,956
I guess the Scathach story has ended, there won't be more Gaga scene left Since she's not in the house

Concerning the fact it was said that Tituba and black voodoo witches were the ones who gave white witches their powers it's only Marie Laveau's version of the story... It's probably not true. Scathach is definitely the one who is the origin of witches. I really hope Gaga will find a way to return every years (or skipping only next season). She really is a great fit to the show ! but in this season they said her powers were a combination of her magic (from scotland or whatever?) and the magic she learned when she arrived in america to create something "new" could the magic she learned in america be from voodoo practioniers (most likely from slaves)? or from the native people? i was going somewhere with this but i got sidetracked this season really messes with my mind

If there were slaves, the Spanish would have had them, and they were not exactly buddies with the British Empire but then Murphy makes his own rules. I just took that to mean that Scathach adapted to the environment around her. Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

Actually Kathy Bates confirmed on Twitter that Scatach's accent is different to The Butchers, because Scathach was involved in the slavery trade between Scotland and Barbados, which is part of the Caribbean. Which, interestingly enough, is where voodoo comes from! She escaped the slave trade on a ship to America as a stow away; she wasn't meant to be going to America! The show kinda glossed over those details in her episode lol. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

An Irish white slave could be sold in Barbados for between £10 and £35. In all, more than 50,000 Irish were transported from Ireland to Barbados (more were sent to other islands in the West Indies), many of them prisoners captured by Oliver Cromwell during the wars in Ireland and Scotland and following the Monmouth Rebellion. The slaves became known as Redlegs, almost certainly a reference to the sunburn they picked up in the hot tropical sun.
