I only did during BTW (my first era) cuz I got obsessed with Gaga. But since then, even during ARTPOP I didn't care much for the promo. In terms of performances, I can't feel a difference between ARTPOP and Joanne so far. I wasn't really there for C2C (was on somewhat of a Gaga hiatus) so dk much about the era. But I can feel how this era isn't as in-your-face as ARTPOP was. Maybe it's a good thing. The music is absolutely incredible. Easily my favorite Gaga album purely based on music (lyrics and production). So that'll help? I 100% believe Gaga could win a Grammy next year. Much. This. To say that the album is "personal" and "raw" is no excuse for it being basic and boring. I'm just not into these country-esque songs and I'm just gonna pretend this album never happened. Jellybean Monster 10 Posted October 22, 2016 Share Posted October 22, 2016 I think saying she doesn't feel the need to promo anymore doesn't exactly align with the facts considering she's all over the media circuit talking up this album on tv, radio, and even a promo tour lol. I will say, while I do love the album and think she's done wonderful work 'artistically', and Angel Down + Come To Mama are among some of my favorite Gaga songs now, I really REALLY REALLY REALLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYY hope whenever LG6 happens....She really goes for the epic smash hits again. I really do. There are a lot of wonderful pop artists out right now that have really catchy pop songs, but nobody does it like Gaga when she really sets her sights on making the hit singles.
