It's accusations, plural

I know, but you're treating it like a measly accusation when the number of victims continues to grow :madge: And by the way you worded that, it seems sexual assault isn't a big deal to you :awkney:

The title reads "2 More Women Accuse Trump Of Sexual Assault".

That's "2 More Women Accuse Trump Of Sexual Assault".

"Accuse".

Hence "accusation".

Eek :emma: you are on point with your citations. Hm.

I looked these up—Jill Harth's lawsuit was withdrawn, and Ivanka later disavowed the rape statements, which were made while they were going through a nasty divorce.

"I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald," she said in the statement today. "The story is totally without merit. Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised 3 children that we love and are very proud of."

“During a deposition given by me in connection with my matrimonial case, I stated that my husband had raped me,” Ivana Trump said in a statement at the time. "On one occasion during 1989, Mr. Trump and I had marital relations in which he behaved very differently toward me than he had during our marriage. As a woman, I felt violated, as the love and tenderness, which he normally exhibited towards me, was absent. I referred to this as a 'rape,' but I do not want my words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense."

Yeah, the Jill Harth lawsuit was settled out of court, but she has never recanted her story:

"Harth and her former romantic partner at the time, George Houraney, had a business relationship with Trump involving one of his casinos, Kristof reported. Houraney sued Trump for a breach of contract, which reportedly resulted in a confidential settlement. Around the time of the settlement, Harth withdrew her separate suit which alleged sexual harassment, and "attempted rape."

In an interview with WNYC, Harth explained why she withdrew her lawsuit at the time:

"He didn’t want to litigate my complaint, that’s for sure. He didn’t want to litigate and that was a condition, and honestly I was so worn down and sick from all of this, I said, fine. OK. Again, if hindsight was, you know, 20/20, I would have gone all the way.""

Under legal pressure Ivana Trump softened her position saying she "felt violated".

"In a statement in July 2015, Ivana Trump said her story was “totally without merit” and that the comments were made “at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald.” But she hasn’t retracted the very specific description of violent sex, that, if it happened the way she described, would constitute sexual assault"

I know, I can read, but like I said, you're treating it like it's not a big deal.
